4th May 2024 Saphos Trains provided a pair of Class 37 locomotives for their English Rivera Express charter on Saturday 4th May 2025 instead of the normal Class 47. No.37521 and No. 37667 'Flopsie' pass Creech St Michael in the harsh morning sunlight while operating 1Z36 04:24 Nantwich - Kingswear in top and tail formation with No.47828. Upon arrival at Taunton the Class 37 locomotives were removed from the train and replaced with Southern Battle of Britain No. 34046 'Braunton' for the run to Kingswear. LCL Class 37 locomotives No.37521 and No. 37667 'Flopsie' had initially been in charge of the 1Z36 04:24 Nantwich to Kingswear charter as far as Taunton from where a loco swap took place for the steam leg to final destination Kingswear and return.
