24th September 2013 Having stabled in Platform 1 for the weekend, Class 56 No. 56312 'Jeremiah Dixon' operated to Westbury and back on Tuesday 24th September 2013. The loco operated light engine as 0Z55 07:20 Taunton - Westbury before continuing to Swindon and Merehead. It later returned to Taunton as 0Z56 12:30 Westbury - Taunton light engine as the 12:30 from Westbury. 56312 'Jeremiah Dixon' then became the first locomotive to use the newly constructed stabling sidings behind Platform 1 at Taunton, where it's pictured. - Photo taken with permission by trained & qualified personnel with permission.
