29th January 2023 An early morning visitors to Taunton on Sunday 29th January 2023 was a pair of GBRf Class 66 locomotives. No. 66730 'Whitemoor' is pictured ready to depart with 6G96 07:20 Yatton - Eastleigh Yard. No. 66759 'Chippy ' had hauled the train south from Yatton to Taunton after an overnight rail drop arriving 53 minutes early. Once at Taunton the train was then held until 09:02 before No. 66730 'Whitemoor' hauled the rail slinger set east to Westbury where the train reversed direction again to head south to Eastleigh via Salisbury.
