A shortage of serviceable First Great Western Class 57/6 locomotives on the night of the 9th January lead to FGW hiring former Arriva Trains-liveried Class 57/3 from West Coast Railways. The locomotive worked the 'Night Riviera' service to Cornwall. Having spent the day in Penzance with the set the locomotive then operated the return diagram to London. No. 57313 'Scarborough Castle' is pictured at Taunton at 02:30 in the morning on the 10th January 2014 while operating 1A40 21:45 Penzance - London Paddington awaiting departure.
