18th June 2022 SR Westcountry No. 34046 'Braunton' passes slowly through Norton Fitzwarren on the 18th June 2022 in-between local summer rain showers. The loco was operating Saphos Trains 'The English Riviera Express' charter, the 1Z61 16:35 Kingswear - Slough. At Norton Fitzwarren the loco crossed over onto the relief lines adjacent to Fairwater Yard where the locomotive was removed and returned to Bishops Lydeard.
