28th July 2017 Friday 28th July provided the sight of the Network Rail New Measurement Train (NMT) through Taunton 3 times during the day. As part of its UK wide testing diagrams, No. 43062 'John Armitt' and No. 43014 'The Railway Observer' visited Penzance, Paignton, and Bristol from Old Oak Common.
