14th March 2022 Colas Rail Freight Class 66/8 No. 66849 'Wylam Dilly' passes Cogload Junction on the 14th March 2022 operating 6C98 05:00 Truro - Westbury. The locomotive was hauling an empty rail delivery set (CWR) after a rail drop in Cornwall. Despite leaving Truro 84 minutes early the train ran into issues between Exeter and Tiverton Loop, after a potential hot box was detected on one of the wagon wheelsets. The train then proceed at 30mph between Tiverton and Westbury making a very slow journey for the driver. The CWR set had also picked up a wheel flat which was evident upon passing Cogload.
