GBRF Class 47 No.47739 arrived at Taunton Station during the early evening on Sunday 6th October 2019. The locomotive (formerly operated by Colas Rail Freight and named 'Robin of Templecombe') is now operated by GBRf. No.47739 worked light engine as the 0Z47 13:30 Leicester to Taunton where upon arriving it stabled in Platform 1. GBRf is using the locomotive for a series of route learning trips on the Okehampton Branch during Monday before it returns to Taunton for a brief period and then works onwards to Swindon. The Ex Works loco is pictured stabled in Platform 1 shortly after arrival.
