GWR King No. 6024 'King Edward I' & No. 7802 'Bradley Manor' stand at Taunton on the 28th February 2005 having arrived with the 1Z24 16:44 Paignton - London Victoria charter 'The Staite Pullman'. Due to a late deparute from Paington the tour was running an hour and a half late. Upon arrival the two steam locomotives were removed from the train as the snow fell, and replaced with Western No. D1015 'Western Champion'. Becuase of the late running the the tour ran direct to Reading via the Berks and Hants route rather than via Bristol.

Having run light engine from Bristol Barton Hill to Taunton, BR Hydraulic No. D1015 'Western Champion' is pictured at Taunton on the 28th February 2005 having been added to the front of 'The Staite Pullman'. The loco prepares to depart with 1Z24 16:44 Paignton - London Paddington having taken over from steam locomotives No. 6024 'King Edward I' and No. 7802 'Bradley Manor'.
