26th February 1977 A pair of BR Blue Westerns No. D1048 'Western Lady' and No. D1010 'Western Campaigner' pass through Taunton light engine on the 26th February 1977. The pair had been used to shadow the 'Western Tribute' charter to avoid any issues should a locomotive had failed. Both locos in this image were already devoid of their cast names and numbers.
