7th February 2015 On Saturday 7th February 2015, Colas Rail Freight Class 70 No.70809 is pictured stabled on the down mainline between Taunton Station and Taunton East Junction. The train conveyed loaded wagons of spent ballast dug out from the excavations at Taunton East Junction. Alongside the locomotive are sets of rail lifting equipment ready to be positioned later in the day, while the locomotive waits to depart with 6C21 14:00 Taunton - Exeter Riverside.
