Rail Operations Group (ROG) Class 56s No.56081 and No.56104 double head through Taunton Station on the 9th March 2016 hauling Network Rail Class 31 No.31285 north as the 0Z31 12:00 Exeter Riverside - Burton Wetmore Sidings. The Class 31 has been in store at Exeter Riverside Yard since April 2015 when it failed on a Network Rail Test Train. The loco was being taken to the Nemesis Depot for assessment.

Having resided in a quiet corner of Exeter Riverside Yard since May 2015 after developing traction motor problems, Network Rail Class 31 No.31285 finally moved north on March 9th, 2016. Rail Operations Group (ROG) locomotives No.56081 and No.56104 are pictured approaching the summit at Whiteball with the Class 31 in tow whilst working the 0Z31 12:00 Exeter Riverside Yard to Burton Wetmore Sidings, the pair of 56's having worked to the west country two days previously on a stock move for First Great Wester between Kilmarnock and Laira T&RSMD.
