Direct Rail Services Class 88s operate on both Overhead and Diesel power so are not normally found in Somerset. 13th April 2019 Direct Rail Services Class 88 No. 88003 'Genesis' makes history with Class 68 No.68034 on the 13th April 2019 to become the first member of its Class to visit Penzance.
