28th March 2019 Her Majesty the Queen, arrived into Taunton during the early hours of Thursday 28th March 2019 having departed London Euston. Her Royal train was then stabled on the West Somerset Railway close to the 40 Commando base for the rest of the night. Having taken breakfast on board the train, Her Royal Highness was transported to Castle Cary for her first engagement of the day.
