Sunday 3rd February 2019 provided more Colas engineering action in the Taunton area. Class 66/8 No.66847 (and No.70807) top and tailed a rake of twenty Network rail Autoballasters. The 6C24 08:04 Hinksey Yard - Cowley Bridge Junction provided the final top layer of ballast to be dropped at the Barnstaple Line track renewal site.

Colas Rail Freight Class 66/8 No.66847 is pictured paused at Taunton on Sunday 3rd February 2019. The 6C24 08:04 Hinksey Yard - Cowley Bridge Junction was formed of 20 Autoballasters and operated in Top and Tail formation with No.70807 at the rear of the loaded ballast set.

With snow still on the highest point of the line the 6C24 08:04 Hinksey Yard - Cowley Bridge Junction makes the final push over the grade
