3rd November 2018 DB Crago has recently been operating rare Saturday services of Mendip Aggregates to the virtual quarry at Exeter Riverside Yard. Unlike weekdays when the return empties rarely appear in Taunton much before 14:30, the Saturday return empties have been returning exceptionally early, able to gain earlier pathing with fewer passenger services operating. On Saturday 3rd November Aggregate Industries liveried Class 59/0 No. 59005 'Kenneth J Painter' passes Norton Fitzwaren hauling the 6C28 11:41 Exeter Riverside - Whatley Quarry running 124 minutes ahead of schedule.
