17th September 2026 GBRf Class 66/7 No. 66716 'Locomotive & Carriage Institution Centenary 1911-2011' operates the first MOD train through Taunton in decades on Thursday 17th September 2026. The GBRf Class 66 arrived into Fairwater Yard late on Monday 14th September. Several days were spent loading containers from Norton Manor Camp before the train departed on Thursday as 6Z00 12:23 Fairwater Yard - Carlisle Yard (with a continued path to Mossend Yard, before returning to MOD Kineton).
