10th July 2012 Nemesis Rail provided a splash of colour in Taunton on 10th July 2012 by working the 5Z56 11:00 Carlisle to Laira stock move. The empty coaching stock movement was formed of Virgin Trains Mk2 barriers 3344 and 5952, conveying newly converted FGW Mk3 coaches 45503 and 45502 to Laira Depot. The coaches have been converted from previously redundant buffet cars into full passenger seated coaches. No. 56312 'Jeremiah Dixon' provided the power for the trip and is seen passing through Taunton from 40 Steps heading south to Laira. (Photo: Jeff Treece)
