Former First Great Western Class 47 now operated by Freightliner Heavy Haul passes through Creech St Michael on the 31st August 2006.

No.47811 was operating as 0V60 12:10 Exeter St Davids- Westbury light engine on a route learning trip complete with the South West Rail Gen On Tour headboard.

The Whistling Pixie - Pathfinder Tours

Pathfinder Tours and the Class 40 Preservation Society operated 'The Whistling Pixie' charter on the 28th August 2026, taking a Class 40 to Penzance.

The charter operated as 1Z40 07:00 Ealing Broadway - Penzance, passing through Taunton around 09:25, making a non-stop pass through the station.

Cotswold Rail Class 47 locomotives No.47828 and No.47813 pass Creech St Michael on Saturday 19th August 2006.

The pair were operating Heartland Rail charter 1Z64 05:47 Wolverhampton - Penzance.

Great Western Class 180 'Adelante' No.180103 passes through Creech St Michael on the 19th August 2006 operating a London Paddington bound service train.

The word 'Adelatne' taken from the is a Spanish word meaning "forward" or "ahead".
