Images from the Micky Farkas Collection. Micky Farkas was a train driver who was a fireman at Taunton in the early 1960's. His collection of rare well composed black and white negatives have been scanned by Steve Awford and provided to Taunton Trains to host for prosperity.

0-6-0 Pannier Tank No.9670 was based at Taunton (83B Shed) leaves the mainline at Creech Junction with the Creech Paper Mill in the background. The train is bound for Thornfalcon. Hatch, Ilminster and Chard. The image predates 1960 as this locomotive was withdrawn on the 31st May 1962.
