The line south of Exeter was therefore closed. One of the only train services operating in the Taunton area on the morning of the 2nd March 2018 was the 2Z63 07:18 Bristol Temple Meads - Taunton service, which in itself was restarted at Bristol due to the original train from Gloucester running 71 minutes behind schedule.
