GWR 4-6-0 No. 5022 'Wigmore Castle' exists from Whiteball Tunnel in June 1962 with a Paddington bound express.

0-6-0 Pannier Tank No.5736 arrives into Minehead with a mixed goods train on an unknown date.

This wonderful image was taken in February 1960 and shows 2-6-2T No.5543 arriving into Bishops Lydeard from Minehead heading for Taunton.

July 1961 4-6-0 GWR Castle No. 5042 'Winchester Castle' exits from Whiteball Tunnel into Devon hauling an express from London Paddington.

2-6-2T No.4159 is pictured shunting coal wagons in a yard. The location on this image was noted at Taunton, but further research suggests is may be Bishops Lydeard. The locomotive started its life at Chester Shed before moving to Severn Tunnel Junction and later was allocated to Taunton for a period in the 1960's.

BR Mogul 2-6-0 43xx No.7303 is seen at Taunton on an arrival from Barnstaple or a stopper going to Bristol in 1964. This is possibly a summer Saturday as the centre platform is in use. Also odd is the DMU which appears to be arriving on the centre road- as they usually only worked stoppers they would use the platform occupied by the mogul.
