Aggregate Industries liveried Class 59/0 No. 50002 'Superb' operated the Exeter Riverside stone tirp on the 26th April 2018. Having spent the morning unloading stone in Riverside Yard, the Class 59 is pictured passing Broomhay Crossing (Bathpool) with the 7C28 13:44 Exeter Riverside - Whatley Quarry empties.

On a frosty winters morning DB Class 59/2 No. 59202 'Alan Meadows Taylor - MD Mendip Rail Limited' passes Cogload Junction on the 28th February 2018, with the loaded box wagons full of Mendip aggregates. The 6C27 06:30 Westbury - Exeter Riverside often provides a Class 59 for this heavily loaded trip.

The 'as required' flow of aggregate from Whatley Quarry to Exeter Riverside Yard to replenish local stock piles of construction materials restarted on Monday 2nd February 2018. A Class 59 from the Mendip Rail fleet is often supplied for this working. Having been unloaded at Exeter via mechanical grab, Hanson Aggregates liveried Class 59/1 No. 59104 'Village of Great Elm' passes Broomhay Crossing (Bathpool) under localised clouds hauling the 7C28 13:44 Exeter Riverside - Westbury empties back to Wiltshire.

DB Cargo Class 59/2 No. 59202 'Alan Meadows Taylor - MD Mendip Rail Limited' 'Alan Meddows Taylor MD Mendip Rail Ltd' passes Taunton on Thursday 7th September hauling the 6C28 13:45 Exeter Riverside - Westbury empty aggregates wagons having been unloaded at Exeter Riverside Yard. The train passes Platform 4 at Taunton on route back to the Mendips.

With LNER A1 Pacific No. 60163 'Tornado' taking a break in Cornwall and staying in the care of the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, DB Cargo provided a Class 59/2 for the return journey to London Paddington from Penzance on the 29th May 2017. These locomotives are more akin to hauling 2000 tonne freight trains to and from the Mendip's, but can put in a good turn on speed when let loose on a railtour. No. 59202 'Alan Meadows Taylor - MD Mendip Rail Limited' passes Norton Fitzwarren with the 1Z65 to London Paddington from Penzance.

Aggregate Industries liveried Class 59/0 No. 59004 'Paul A Hammond' 'Paul A Hammond' added a splash of colour to the 10th April 2017 making an appearance on the Exeter Riverside stone contract. The clean locomotive is seen hauling the 7C28 13:45 Exeter Riverside - Whatley Quarry up Whiteball Bank on the 10th April 2017 returning to Westbury.
